I have used the stoneware clay to throw this vase on the wheel and then fired it to 1280 C. This Vase has the artist’s mark at the bottom.
Description
My take of the Surahi – the Indian clay pot used for storing water. This vase has an elegant form with a rustic smooth finish on the outside and glazed inside with Lucie Rie. It is spherical and cylindrical. I absolutely love this one and is a joy to touch and feel. It has timeless aesthetics about itself.
